Easy Homemade Hummus

Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 2-3 tablespoons Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Zest and juice of one small lemon
  • 1-2 teaspoons cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation: 
  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil, garlic, lemon juice and lemon zest in a food processor or blender. Pulse until creamy.
  2. Add the cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
  3. If your hummus is too thick, add a tablespoon or two of water.
