Ingredients: 
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup chopped onion (2 large onions)
  • 1 cup Pompeian Classic Pure Olive Oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 – 1 lb. cans whole peeled tomatoes
  • 2 – 6 oz. cans tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation: 

Heat Pompeian Classic Pure Olive Oil in a large saucepan. And onions and garlic and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef and fry until brown Add remaining ingredients and simmer 2-1/2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally or until sauce thickens.
